Group Feedback: Self Initiated Post-it-note Crit

Me and Kezia decided to arrange a post-it-note crit for the year group going from Tuesday until Friday of reading week, as an opportunity to get some feedback about our work.

Reflections:

• This crit was a good way of seeing what my viewers thought about my work, and what details they picked up on. 
• Although I didn't get many entries, the viewers picked up on the textural details that I have been working hard with. 
• A piece of development that I could take on board would be adding welding to the front of the mild steel piece (as well as the back). This would add extra detail, but I'm not sure if it's what I want for the piece, or what the piece needs. I think I will leave the mild steel piece in terms of welding on the front of the image as well, as this would overcomplicate it, when it doesn't need to be, as at the moment it shows both sides of the welding process on opposing sides.
