Prepping the Gallery & Testing Hanging the Canvas

• I have filled, sanded and painted nearly all the walls in the Project Space Plus gallery. 

Hanging Canvas Painting

• I wanted it exactly central to the width of the back wall, so we measured it and marked it up correctly.  

• The canvas hangs flush on one side, and slightly off the wall on the other side, and this could be something to do with the wall itself, or maybe the canvas. 
• This issue needs to be resolved by placing batons on the wall, so that the canvas can sit evenly and it will have an even floating edge all the way around the image. 
• I really like the rust that has evolved on the mild steel frame. 

Creating Wooden Battons & Re-hanging

• This now looked a lot better and hung evenly against the wall all the way around.
